1. Who we are and acceptance
Zz Details is operated by Zz Details LLC (Colorado), Zz Details CA LLC (California), Zz Details NC LLC (North Carolina) and Zz Details SC LLC (South Carolina). The entity that serves you is the one licensed in your state. By booking, requesting a quote, or using our websites, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not book with us.
2. Booking, access and site conditions
When you book, you agree to provide a safe, legal place for us to work (a driveway, garage or parking space) and, where possible, access to water and power. You confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to have it serviced. If we cannot access the vehicle or the location is unsafe or not permitted (for example, some HOA or apartment lots), we may need to reschedule or cancel.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices shown online are estimates based on the vehicle size and service selected. Excessive soiling, pet hair, mold, biohazards, odor, sand or extra services may change the final price. Your detailer will confirm any change with you before starting work. We do not collect payment until the job is finished and you have had a chance to inspect it. Payment is due on completion by card, cash or another method we accept. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection costs where permitted by law.
4. Rescheduling, cancellations, weather and no-shows
You can reschedule or cancel any time before your appointment by calling or texting us. We may reschedule for severe weather, unsafe conditions or staffing issues and will give as much notice as we can. If we arrive and cannot perform the service because the vehicle or location is unavailable, we may charge a trip fee that we will disclose at booking.
5. Satisfaction guarantee
If something isn't right, tell us within 48 hours and we will come back and make it right at no charge. The guarantee covers the work we performed. It does not cover pre-existing damage, wear, stains or odors that cannot be removed with professional products, or conditions you did not disclose before service. Results vary by vehicle age and condition, and we cannot guarantee complete removal of every stain, scratch, odor or pet hair.
6. Vehicle condition and your responsibilities
Please remove valuables, firearms, medications, cash and personal items before service and tell us about pre-existing damage, loose or aftermarket parts, electrical issues, leaks, or anything fragile. Zz Details is not responsible for items left in the vehicle, for pre-existing conditions, or for damage resulting from undisclosed defects, prior repairs, aged or failing paint, trim or interior materials.
7. Limitation of liability
Our detailers are trained and we carry insurance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zz Details' total liability for any claim arising out of a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, loss of use, or diminished value. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Any claim must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of service so we can inspect the vehicle.
8. Ceramic coatings and protection products
Durability claims for coatings, sealants and protection products are based on manufacturer specifications and proper maintenance. Actual longevity depends on climate, storage, washing habits and vehicle use. Coatings are not a substitute for insurance and do not prevent rock chips, deep scratches, accidents or vandalism.
9. Photos and reviews
We take before-and-after photos of vehicles we service for quality control and may use them in our marketing. We do not show license plates, faces or personal items. If you prefer that we not use photos of your vehicle, tell your detailer or email us and we will honor that request. Reviews you post publicly may be quoted on our websites with your first name and last initial.
10. Text messages
By providing your mobile number you agree to receive appointment-related texts (confirmations, reminders, on-the-way notices, follow-ups) and, with your consent, occasional offers from Zz Details. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
11. Gift cards, promotions and referral credits
Gift cards and referral credits have no cash value, cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and must be used with the Zz Details company that issued them. Promotional prices apply only during the stated period and to the stated services.
12. Website use and intellectual property
Our websites, photos, logos, text and designs belong to Zz Details or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. You agree not to misuse our websites, submit false information, or interfere with their operation. Websites and content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
13. Independent contractors
Some services are performed by independent contractors who have agreed to follow Zz Details standards, training and guarantee. Zz Details remains your point of contact for scheduling, payment and any concerns.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the service was performed, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We want to resolve any issue directly, so please contact us first. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it will be resolved in the state or small-claims courts of the county where the service was performed, and each party waives any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action to the extent permitted by law.
